EULA seems to state a hidden FEE - Guild Wars Forums

Yet the EULA at the launch states that all chapters will be automatically billed at their discretion at some UNKNOWN price and frequency... NOT COOL!!! Having to be tricked into an auto-pay system is not customer service... Its plan and simple BAIT and SWITCH.. and since only 2% of the users ACTUALY READ that agreement... They know they can get away with it. I for one am looking for the off SWITCH for this auto-purchase of chapters ASAP. I do not like these scams and false advertising gimmicks... Dont tell everyone that its not going to have hidden fees when you really do. thats not right man.

That has been stated for a very long time that the expansions will need to be purchased. This is not new.

HUH? So you automaticly buy the expansions?
That's impossible because they don't have any information about you, or are they sending you some spyware to check we're you're at?
Anyways, they said in the support section of the site you didn't need to buy the expansions to continue playing.
Either way, this doesn't feel right, could anybody explain what exactly is going on?

I highly doubt that. It hasn't been stated anywhere that you NEED to buy the expansions. It's also a bit hard to bill someone without any information. For instance, if they decide to bill me, where will they send the bill to? EB's in Woden down here? And then wait for one of the employees to recognise me and give me the bill when I step in there randomly?

The whole concept is laughable.

Sounds like a little of misunderstanding of legalese, I for one have always had a hard time understanding the legal langauge used in EULA's. As a software developer, they have to cover all of their bases as do anyone that is publishing anything to the public. Lets hold our horses, Anet has an excellent rep, lets not draw and quarter them yet, lets at least wait for an response or explaination.
